    - Development of methodology for incorporating total column zone data from the Total Ozone Mapping Spectrometer (TOMS) into the initial conditions of a mesoscale prediction model.
    - Find the relationship between TOMS ozone and vertical mean potential vorticity.
    - Analyze potential vorticity motions at extra tropical cyclone developments.
